BASIC INFORMATION

Number Harmonics has spent over 25 years resolving the basic elements of what Plato described as the Pythagorean System of Healing with Music.

The Three elements that form the bed on which all of the principles and application of the Harmonic Arts  rest are as follows:

• Spirit is Intelligent ... It can enter into any temporal condition, and uplift, alter and redirect as it sees fit. However, in all things It follows an evolving sequences of Patterns that evidence themselves as circumstance.
• Spirit works for the Good of the One as well as for the Good of All. It is beyond duality even while it embraces it.
• Spirit works through the Divine, Eternal aspect of ourselves, that which we know as Soul. As such, we are vehicles for ITS expression.

The Core Element is held  that Life (Spirit) follows a Pattern of unfolding evolution for the Good of All.

An essential principle behind this is the understanding that Choice and our ability to choose is what attracts the nature of our experience. Thus while Spirit seeks to assist, we remain responsible for our own lives.

The methods of Pythagorean Tone Healing rely on simple principles:

• The Music of the Spheres: This is the primary Cause, or Spirit in Action. All around us there is a Tonal Bath of Sound and Light, which the Pythagoreans called the Music of the Spheres. This is what we call "Spirit" in the West. This Tone Current, or Audible Life Stream, alters from one day to the day, and one moment to the next, in a specific pattern of unfolding and refolding tones.
• All is Number: In the process of Life, the patterns of Number represent the Patterns of Divine Order. These Patterns, once understood, can be described Harmonically. This is Music as mathematics.
• Each Date is a Harmonic Map: The simple "map" of these Number Cycles is found inherent in the Date of every day. A Date is really a "clock" of cycles, always with an element of "one" added from the prior date.
• You are a Song Each Individual has an Overall Harmonic Map that describes this "song". By looking at the Important Dates in a person's life, we can see what specific Divine Energies are being called in on those days. Thus we can plot out a specific "Unified Tone Map" for each individual.

An overriding principle in all Pythagorean thought is that "There is no coincidence".

Tone Healing applies equally to Mental, Emotional and Physical conditions, and can also greatly assist opening up of Spiritual Understanding in people.

It should be noted that people need not believe in this system for it to be effective. It works regardless of belief or non-belief by the Listener. (In fact, Non-Belief often is more effective, because when the changes become overt, the person tends to become very involved in their process. In the end, it is the personal energy we put in towards unfoldment that counts)

On a personal level, the Pythagoreans held the Following:

• We are Soul. Soul is an eternal Spark that cannot be extinguished, inverted, or harmed.
• Soul travels from incarnation to incarnation perfecting its understanding of Its Spiritual Purpose.
• Soul has no Gender, and is not subject to Polarity of any kind
• Soul, once awakened, lives consciously in the High Worlds of Spirit
• Soul knows only Harmony.

Subsequent to this, if someone is struggling under a burden of dis-ease or suffering deep anger or emotional/mental anguish, this is simply an indication that the individual has lost for that period the direct connection with themselves as Soul.

By "retuning" people to their "Soul Patterns" (As what is mathematically inherent in the important Dates of their life) an individual begins to naturally flow back to a point of "Soul Harmony" rather than Mental or Emotional conflict. It MUST be noted, however, that with the journey back to that state of Harmony, the individual often goes through significant conflict. We work for everything we get..

An over riding principle that governs all of life is that, as Soul, we make agreements. We might call the result of  these agreements "Karma" or "Fate" or just "Gods Will".  Regardless, these "agreements" are evidenced by the events of our lives, and there is nothing left purely to chance.

Despite any contrary belief, the Pythagorean Analyst will see your agreements reflected in the dates of certain events. The Patterns are definite, and there is no happenstance or guesswork involved.

NOTE: The Core of Ancient Greek Philosophy revolved around the contrary argument of the "Hedonist Versus the Idealist". This question was essentially: Should I enjoy the moment, or do I prepare for the future? Should I indulge my appetite, or watch my weight? In essence, it is the argument is what the French call "God is Watching". Is God Watching, or not? The basis of our actions tend to be that God is either watching, thus we must behave, or not watching (or non-existent) therefore we can play. It goes without saying that all the contrary questions that run through our culture ran through the Ancient Greek civilization as well.

This is the primary rational why the Greeks worshipped Music as the Highest of the Arts. Listening to exquisite music removed this argument from within a person ... We could feel sustained by a divinity as well as enjoying a pleasure. Both aspects of our being, the stoic and the hedonist, could equally enjoy the moment.

The core of this is simple: Quality Music naturally instills a sense of Higher Consciousness. Higher Consciousness answers all the questions of Human Existence.

This remains a basic principle and guiding light with the application of the Pythagorean Art of Toning for spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well being.
