The 2-7-9 Trine: (FOCUS: Two) See through the Illusion of Pleasure and Pain.
This Trine can have difficulty with balance, for with the focus on the Two there can be an inherent sense of duality, or double vision if you will, with everything that is undertaken.
But consider Yin and Yang, they are part of the same circle.
This “double” sense will continue until you begin to see through the illusion of Pleasure and Pain.
Part of the life lesson from this Trine is to resolve the various Paradoxes. IE: Pain and Pleasure, High and Low, Rich and Poor, etc. It is all Yin and Yang.
Of course, there is no paradox.
The Law states: Present circumstances are earned by the individual as a result of Karma.

The resolution of these circumstances is simply part of the learning process. However, this is the higher viewpoint, and not what you feel when you are in the middle of things. From a distance all is harmony, but this can only be earned through experience and understanding.
These two considerations are the keys to this Trine, Experience and Learning. In pursuit of this you may feel an urgency to act for some cause or other, but take care with your associations. You are often very socially conscious and active, but with maturity you will most likely become quieter and more selective in the causes you choose to support. Your actions generally become far more effective as you start to apply the Law of Economy to all you do. IE: Minimum effort for maximum result.
There is both a political side and an apolitical nature within the energy here, a caring heart and a cynical mind. You may possess a deeply thoughtful nature that can often act very selfishly, an open mind, yet one with strong, fixed opinions. Because of this marital bliss is rare.
Political partners, marriages of convenience, and arranged combinations are generally best here ... and oddly genuine love can grow from these apparently "cold" relationships.
If this aspect has come up for you, it may be suggesting that you take a more “Cold Fish” approach to things.
On the brighter side, with this aspect active you will rarely suffer poverty. It is a good energy are good generating capital and when you put your focus on finance you will do well. However, there can be a problem with this in youth because the idealist may come to the fore. Your mind will say things like "I shouldn't have money while my brother goes hungry" or "Money is the cause of all pain in this world".
Maturity will bring you to the point that you may as well enjoy what you can in life. There is a love for beautiful things, and for a comfortable life that tends to override the Idealist, but the soul so affected must be careful about how they resolve these inner questions.
They may end up rich in cash, but Spiritual paupers. You may alternatively be poor in cash, but rich in spirit. The second appears noble until the rent has to be paid. Best to have a little of both.
There is a tendency here to cut off options rather than resolve differences.
The hard edged approach works well with worldly success, but it tends to leave the person at a loose end as far as friendship goes. This can lead to a lonely life, but even so you tend to be pragmatic about such things.
Most of your issues can be avoided by dedication to a worthy ideal.
We find many devotees of varied paths to be affected by this Trine. Where you would normally be a loner, the flip side is that you can become exceedingly co-operative with others when all are polarized to a common goal.
In this instance, you make a good leader who can inspire others to heights of achievement and culture. You will remain in this position of strength as long as the common goal is held by the majority.
Once the goal is accomplished, step aside.
The case of Winston Churchill is a classic case in point for the energy here. He led the people through the ordeal of fire, and though he was removed shortly after peace came, he retired gracefully to the background and enjoyed enormous respect for the rest of his life.
In all, you need to choose the type of person you wish to be. This is a Trine that will challenge sacred cows and beat the drum for social change, but when this is done you will feel restless once more. We find that the real lesson of this Trine is not an outward one, but to turn the Soul inwards in order to resolve the differences inside self.
Seeing through your illusions of Pleasure and Pain is the key. This mean that you no longer get distracted by the ideals of your personal hopes and wishes, and be able to sweep the step of your desire.
Remember the simple principle: Present Circumstances are the result of the playing out of Karma. We Choose or have Earned our Parents, we choose or have earned our lessons and all is arranged before we arrive. All is chosen, but what we choose from this point on is not.
