The Oracle

The 3-4-7 Trine: Trim the Hedge.  Over the Wall lies Yourself.

This tends to be a thick and rather unpleasant Trine,  with a constant “push pull” energy about it,  but if you can look inside your depression,  you will find inspiration.

When you come to understand that the apparently “negative” emotions are just inner doors opening to a whole new wave of energy,  you jump the hurdles of yourself and find a tremendous freedom.

You would like to be generous,  but the stoic side of your nature will generally prefer to serve itself.

It is not quite being selfish,  but being self-reliant and that you expect others to be the same.

The 3-4-7 Trine:

Trim the Hedge.

There is a sense that you like the things of the Earth, but yearn for the sky ... All of this combines in an odd way, and tends initially to create an edgy, confined person who is uncertain of their identity. But if the barriers and inner blocks can be cleared, the confusion transforms into humour, wisdom, and a great deal of freedom.

What you do need to understand is that service is its own reward.

By serving something outside of your own small world, this gives you a travel ticket to explore life more fully. When you start this adventure, either physically or emotionally, you will also discover there is no basis to your secret fear, which is that someone is looking at you critically.

“God is watching” is an old French proverb, which means precisely the opposite … no one is looking at you. You and everyone else are generally doing what they do because they are locked into a small world of personal survival.

When you get out of the small world of Self and start getting out and enjoying the world, then the energy of this Trine starts working in your favour.

If we view this Trine in long sight, we can see that it is a very powerful combination for giving the individual training in the most important aspects of personal mastery, which are ONE: learning to be of service to a higher cause, and TWO: Learning not to take things personally.

The message here is perseverance until the sense of knowing who you are and where you are going arises within.

The major lesson in bringing this about is one of lightness … The Incredible Lightness of Being. To simply let things be rather than "work it out" is the key for spiritual and oftentimes material success.

Ask yourself … Do you really want another workshop? Do you really want to get bogged down in some detailed analysis of “stuff”?

Try and catch the moments of laughter rather than write eulogies about the tears. This is a difficult Trine as the tendency is to internalize and dissect things up inside, looking for what is believed to be "wrong".

This, to quote the Tibetan Saint Rebazar Tarzs, is like taking patent medicine for an undiagnosed illness ... It simply makes us sick in spirit. Get past the policeman inside yourself, and you will fly free.

I met this Tibetan Saint once. Scary. He radiated so much power that I basically ran away, but because he pressed so many buttons all at once, a whole lot of “mental crap” started to sort itself out.

This, by the way, is the real reason why we look to connect with a Master of the path you are on (Whatever that might be). They have already walked the path we are walking, and can give us the thing we need to help us over our own hurdles.

As a note, this internalizing aspect also tends to make the health aspect weak, and you should aim to keep your diet full of fresh food with not too much meat. Your motto is twofold: “I think therefore I am” … but it grows to become “I sink therefore I swim”.

We are talking Spiritual Survival. This requires compassion, understanding and humour alongside a good dose of perseverance.
