The Oracle

The Positive Characteristics of the number Ten:

The Strong TEN personality can withstand life shocks, and stay focused on the task at hand.

They are natural entrepreneurs and leaders. Clear, bright and determined, any task is viewed as a means to a specific goal.

The positive Ten is like sunshine to the seeds of hope and aspiration.

The Negative Characteristics of the number Ten:

The Negative Ten cannot finish anything.

They flounder in indecisive, contrary thoughts, and vacillate between all available options.

Augmentative and weak, they brood over the past and generally fall into severe addiction or depression.

They see conspiracy and subterfuge as the cause of their failures, and cannot accept personal responsibility.

The Ten, Eleven and Twelve are considered higher order Numbers, and as such they are called Volatile Elements. Yet they only work in a medium suitable for them. It is like trying to put electricity through a piece of wood, the higher frequencies simply do not flow unless the native has some connection to their higher self. Yet with this number present, there will be some area of the persona affected by it.

The first thing that must be determined is where this number is active in a person.

This is really determining what aspects of consciousness are volatile, or awake. Socrates stressed the importance of knowing ourselves. This is the only way to bring the latencies of these high numbers into play.

This means that if you are doing a reading for a drunk, and he has a predominance of high numbers you can fairly well assume that he has either forgotten his inner nature, or is seeking to repel it for fear of the responsibilities they entailed. Some drunks I have dealt with, however, were very aware of the spiritual power connected to them. They simply did not know how to deal with it.

There is little point casting pearls before swine. If you are doing a reading, ask questions and work out where a person is at, then focus your interpretation in accordance with where they are at. How do you then pick an active Ten energy in a chart?

The Ten has the energy of the new, the budding flower of Spring, the turning of the season, the whisper of a new love in the heart. All this is the frequency of the Ten, which is the One and the Zero combined. The One signifies force and direction, while the Zero indicates the presence of Spirit.

This adds up to a sense of purpose and a sense of fulfilment, but of course, the reverse is also possible. Always the positive carries with it the shadow of the negative, because even angels can be tempted!

The Ten energy has an intense sense of purpose. A destructive Ten is a dangerous person who will create harm intentionally before burning out and destroying themselves. Polarised the other way, the Ten is the great builder, and thus is connected with the vibration of the Four and the Eight. A person with this trine aspected in their Noumenal Chart would almost certainly be an creator of great and noble things.

The perfection of architecture is natural to the psychology of the Ten, with the natural form and flow of life a source of fascination. The concept of architecture is an interesting one, for it is the highest of the arts. In this study the individual must combine beauty and form with practicality and longevity, and this is the destiny the Ten vibration seeks to fulfil.

If we add the basic building blocks of the Noumenal Order we find they add up to Ten. (1+2+3+4 = 10) This is the Pythagorean Decad. The Ten is the mystic with the eyes forever searching the heavens. Their ideal is seeking the form of God in manifestation. The finest sculptors will vibrate to this number, as will surgeons and people of vision, but it is very difficult to categorise it any further.

Suffice to say the native affected by this vibration will have a certain spiritual quality to them. They will also have a certain surprising way of finding just what they need, even though the odds were against them.

This is because they have the quality of Spirit in their lives, which is the ultimate resource, and things seem to find their way to them at the right time and place.

Naturally, if the native is out of balance, the force of this spiritual flow will internalise and be directed against the obstacle in their mind or emotions. The Ten person can have a very trying time until they learn detachment from their fears, inner wishes and hopes.

They have a curious trait, which is to question everything while giving the appearance that they believe all things. It is a sort of survival mechanism, for the Ten is inherently unstable in these lower worlds, and the native needs to learn to approach all things with a negative outlook. This gives them balance. All good builders view things from the point of what difficulties there will be, and because of this they work out what can go wrong.

Therefore, they minimise the problems before they start.

It's a good attitude to adopt in this world, this sense of realistic optimism. This could be said to be the attitude of the balanced Ten, a realistic optimism, and it is this which gives them the weight to wade through the darkest night of Soul, and to penetrate into the very heart of the matter when the need does arise.

The major lesson for the Ten is surrender.

The Ten is a composite of all the numbers, and so can be found in any field, with any sort of personality, but it carries an air of preciseness and spirituality about itself. A negative ten simply does not carry this vibration, but what does happen to natives who cannot hold its energy is that the Ten splits into the One and the Zero, with the Zero (spirit) remaining a passive background vibration.

We occasionally find what I term as "blind healers", or those who have no idea what is happening when they do healing work, but it works anyway.

We find that these Souls usually have a latent Ten vibration in their chart.

Napoleon looked for Souls who carried this vibration, and his way of qualifying prospective Generals was to simply ask them at the end of an interview "Are you lucky?" If they said "No" they did not get the job.

Napoleon was spiritually advanced, and understood the energy of luck, or what we might otherwise refer to as the Ten.
