The Six is the first representative number of Clarity, or Truth. It marks the beginning of the higher numbers, and represents SOUL, the conscious spark in all living things.

The Oxygen atom has SIX electrons, and by Its nature it is short the seventh that it needs for stability, thus it will form with anything that will offer that needed electron. The chemistry lesson repeats itself in a spiritual vein with the number Six, whose element is Oxygen.

The Six energy is a binding and building force that, like the Five, has a harmony with all the other numbers. However, the Five acts like a relay that allows other numbers to express themselves through its energy, whereas the Six is a catalyst that activates the latent force in all that it meets, and then binds it into some course of events.

This is why the Six is often both representative of the Home and of Business. An apparent conflict until we understand that running a business and a home are similar in many respects. Someone needs to be in charge, there are many people and duties to supervise, there are budgets to meet, goals to achieve and many tasks that occupy our time.

The psychology of the Six mind is to do with balance and activity, and so is symbolised by the tightrope walker. This implies a balancing act, and also a sort of neurosis with anyone not fully balanced with this energy.

Unbalanced individuals who fall in with this number’s vibrational spectrum tend to find the energy unpleasant, and can become extremely non-social in outlook. Hermits, recluses and monks in orders of silence are often in this category. Another exceedingly negative trait of the Six is selfishness, as opposed to its positive end, which is self -sufficiency.

Sixes seldom work well with large groups, essentially because they are very intuitive and they find too many people in their world corrosive to their sense of harmony. Working with like-minded or understanding people, however, brings their many talents to the fore. Many artists have an affinity with people strong in the Six energy, and so you will see them moving in artistic circles. Often, they are the people running the gallery.

Six is also the number of study and higher learning, which gives a sense of aloofness to the Six nature. This type will have little to do with the common man, yet when they generate an understanding of the base aspects of human nature, the Six energy turns them into a formidable business person. This is because they have the breadth of vision that allows the individual to set and achieve realistic goals.

The Six child tends to be finely built, sometimes anaemic looking, yet if their diet is good, they are surprisingly robust. They are prone to such things as Asthma, Colds and Flu and generally react badly to refined sugars. They are rarely heavy meat eaters, preferring chicken and fish as a rule. They will be practical and forthright, sometimes tyrannical to younger members of the family, and generally expect to be listened to.

They like firm authority, and respect their parents for being strict, but they will look for flaws in your character if they suspect weakness in any shape of form. And if they find them, you will be told about it.

A Six child will spend many hours in contemplation, doing things like gazing at the full moon, etc. They are loving towards animals and often tidier than most children because they dislike clutter as a rule. They are not leaders, but neither are they followers, and often simply go their own way with a small group of friends in the playground.

The Six woman is very hard working, both at home and in business. They are perceptive of others feelings and do well as secretaries because they know who to let in to see the boss, and who to keep out. They will very often be seen working in large corporations, and will be part of the backbone staff who are central to the efficient running of the organisation.

Six women deal well with money, and have a good sense for both horses and the stock market, as well as when to buy and sell real estate. This alone can account for why they often have successful marriages, but only if the male partner understands and accepts their intuition.

No man has ever won an argument with a woman, but most especially if she vibrates to the Six. They have such active and penetrating minds that no matter what you say, there will be another angle to prove you wrong. If they have the courage, Six women make tremendous administrators and politicians, for as a rule, they really do work for the good of the whole.

However, on the negative side they can also become terribly power conscious. What is more the Six knows how to wield power as well! This makes them dangerous opponents, though usually they are more caring as a rule.

Sixes make extremely efficient wives and mothers, coping with all life throws and rarely if ever complaining. They know how to make money work for them and how to find ways if it won't. They are resourceful, independent and astute and heaven help anyone who dares insult their husband or children in any way.

You will also see the Six woman in the armed forces, learning karate, or out there on the running track, pushing herself to the limit. She will often exude an aura of warmth, but have an underlying current of fire that men find virtually irresistible, especially as the innate chemistry of the Six will be firing away in the background. She asks pointed question of those she meets. It tends to give men the idea she is interested, when she is merely curious.

The feminine aspect of the Six is also often involved in natural healing, but persecution of this energy throughout the dark ages has given this vibration an acute sense of caution. Hopefully as this wears away in the Twenty First century this wonderful race of healers will once more step forward to fulfil their major role as doctors and administrators. It is in fact crucial that they do. Resonance medicine will only come forward when the Six energy rises to control the field of healing.

The Six man is the true philosopher. Contemplative and considered you will often find the elder statesman has a strong Six vibration in his chart. The men have the healing gift as well, but are generally not as intuitive as the female.

The male has a greater sense of method, and a stamina that belies his often pale appearance, but this is because phosphorus is an integral mineral in the Six vibration. Not the ruling mineral, which is Oxygen, but each number works best with a different set of minerals and enzymes in the human body, and it is these which help to give specific physical and emotional characteristics with each chart.

Quietly, the Six will work in the background, until one day the fire breaks out, and everyone says "Hey, I didn't know Harry had it in him!" This is only because the Six really thinks things through before acting. At their highest levels they epitomise patience, and yet carry a dynamic few can resist.

This is another part of the reason the Six does so well in business, but they are also often on the frontiers of important research projects, offering innovative and unsuspecting ideas to help solve what appear as insurmountable problems.

Dreams will often be one way the Six finds his inspiration, but it is essential that these be written down, or else much will be lost. Only by writing down our dreams do we learn to interpret out unique and personal language of symbols found therein, and this is not only for Sixes! It applies to all people, because the act of recording dreams, writing journals, etc. brings in the balancing energy of the Seven.

When someone is “at Sixes and Sevens” with themselves, it really means the energy inside them has not been grounded. The simple act or writing down plans, dreams and aspirations will lessen the sometimes querulous nature, and give the individual more direction in life.

Remember, the characteristics of any particular number are shared according to their weight in any given chart. You might be a Four by your birth chart, but carry a strong element of the Six within it and thus be affected by this vibration.

The strong, negative characteristics of the Six are mostly to do with the urge for a hermit-like existence. This is because of their inability to deal with the world, and the paradoxical desire to be recognised, which can seriously affect the way they deal with others.

Its opposite number is the Four, which indicates that the Six needs to learn solidarity, to become more worldly and Earthy in outlook. Otherwise, they tend to become somewhat ephemeral and/or intellectual in their day to day dealings.
