The Seven is the Dark Horse of the Noumenal Order. Often greatly misunderstood, this vibration holds the key that unlocks all the universal secrets and as such indicates great learning and often apparent misfortune. This is merely apparent, and if the native survives the testing periods that come with the Seven energy, all the hard times will have been necessary steps to the higher platform of consciousness.
Its contradictory nature comes from the fact that it represents both the higher nature and the lower form, or that of the divine incarnate. Not that every Seven is destined to become the next Messiah, but there is often something very sacrificial about them.
In truth, it is simply that the lower self (Ego) must learn to step aside for the higher self (Soul) when we are passing through the energy of the Seven Ray. It is closely allied with the Eleven Vibration, as well as the Three, which if these occur in an individual’s chart is certain to produce a spiritual dedication, and also a sense of disconnection with others.
Many Seven who fail themselves in this chosen incarnation become paranoid and depressive, exhibiting excessive behaviour in manner and dress as a rule. They are drawn to experiment with drugs, in particular the hallucinatory, calling this part of their spiritual quest.
This is invariably destined to create health problems and obsessive behaviour. However, they also have the ability to snap completely out of this self-deluding sphere and, oddly enough, end up the richer for it.
Seven is the meeting point for the paths of inspiration, compassion and the physical world, and so we can easily see why so many develop a Messiah complex. This is because they have not yet discovered themselves as Soul and thus gained a sense of spiritual perspective.
Only when we can look into our own inner world and see the pure light of ourselves shining back can we truly feel balanced inside. This is an essential part to the journey of the Seven.
The child working with this vibration is often quiet and thoughtful, many times not needing the company of other children. If they do, it can often cause stress, for the solitary Seven energy will often-times sit wrong with other children. It appears to generate a state of slight unnaturalness, but this is only the Seven child considering deeply his thoughts and actions before he actually goes ahead. They are the most considered, but not necessarily considerate, child in the Noumenal Order.
This hesitation can only be overcome when the child is very secure within themself, and so it important that they KNOW they are loved. They may not appear to need hugs and cuddles, but they do, more than any other child. Curiously we find a lot of orphans are Seven children. It seems that detachment is a very important lesson for them to learn, which of course involves coming to terms with the Ego. A very difficult path indeed.
Many black magicians are of the Seven vibration, as well as many of the white ones! They are drawn to the occult like moth to the flame, and very often get their fingers burnt as a result. The women often become practising witches, yet also often lead otherwise normal lives as housewives and career girls. This is part of the two-levelled nature of the Seven, and is not indicative of a deceptive personality.
Seven women tend to be somewhat accusing in their manner, not because they wish to, but because their personality is like a razor blade, dissecting all it encounters. They are the girls at school who looked forward to chopping up the frog in the biology lesson. As a result of this natural curiosity they make good doctors and psychiatrists, as well as good writers. This is true of the men as well.
In fact, most writers vibrate well to the Seven frequency, even if they are not naturally blessed (cursed?) with the energy. Many famous writers have been born on Seven days, many more than would account for mere chance.
Writing is a particularly strong point with this energy, because it symbolises the drawing of the higher energy down to the lower. It will encourage thoughts and emotions to reform into physical reality.
The female and the male aspect to the Seven is very close, except that the female has more compassion as a rule, and greater patience as a result. The ladies find their life progresses along very well, as long as they keep their patience, and consider the needs of others.
As a wife, the Seven woman is intriguing, for you never know what she will come up with. Her mind is articulate, though often they find difficulty with words, (another paradox considering they are usually good writers!) and the way she will express her thoughts will be quite odd. They can be adorable, warm Souls who are a pleasure to share a life with, and things will never become boring unless you, yourself, are an ill-considered bore.
Whereas the women will fit in, the men will invariably seek to stand out.
They can often be nervous and edgy, needing solid dependable work to feel at ease, and will work on private projects into the late evening night after night. Surprisingly, after years of working for the firm the Seven male will suddenly decide he has had enough, and take the family for a trip around the world, on a camel, or some other equally absurd notion.
Somehow, they will always find the obtuse way to do something, but as a result of this, we find that they make excellent computer programmers.
One might say the Seven energy is almost inexplicable, but there is always a method in the madness. Naturally, the opposite end of the spectrum is the individual who has done nothing with his life. If this is a Seven, they will most likely be a suicide candidate.
The Seven will always look for a career or service post. We find many priests and religious figure fitting this energy. This is partly because of the solitary nature it is often associated with. This need to be alone is often really a need to resolve some inner question. Yet there is also a need to be of service in some way, which can conflict with the desire to be alone.
This is shared by both women and men under the Seven vibration.
Oddly, one of the major karmic lessons here is to do with money and understanding the true nature of wealth. Often the Seven individual has come from a background of wealth, but appears to need to be poor for many of the lessons to come home properly. Because of this, the Seven will often hold up poverty as some sort of standard that is to be valued.
This is merely one section of the path they tread. Beyond poverty there is great spiritual and often material wealth for these people, but only if they can get over the failure/martyr consciousness they so often suffer.
The psychology is one of freedom. Freedom is paramount, yet the Seven native will enslave themselves to an ideal, a group or an individual thinking that their devotion will set them free. Perhaps, but in time we realise that most good shepherds are only here to shear their flock.
Rather than freedom, these natives should focus on individuality and expression of Love, wherein they will find their true freedom. The colour the spiritually seeking Seven will often choose to wear is blue, which indicates their desire to ascend to the next level, that of the Eight.
The mineral attached to the Seven is Manganese. Much of the activity of the vibration utilises phosphorous, but the principal agent is Manganese. A shortage of it will make these people depressive and moody, and so it is essential that they have live food, especially fresh sprouts and herbs like turmeric (which is mostly manganese and iron).
As we have said, Seven represents the Dark Horse of the Noumenal Order, one that is rarely understood, but which can spring forth with a font of wisdom. The Seven makes the true elder statesman, though because of the solitary nature, they are rarely drawn to politics. If there is an important ideal at stake, however, they will go through hell and back to see it is achieved.
They are misunderstood, and usually they do not understand themselves, but when the Seven finds his or her wings he soars like the eagle and is an inspiration for all.
